A two day Scrambling Workshop for Hillwalkers in the Lakes. Come along and learn how to move confidently and competently on steep, rocky terrain and graded Scrambles in the hills!

About the Event
On this course we will look at how you move from being a hillwalker to being competent and confident on scrambling and steep, rocky terrain.
Think Struiding Edge on Helvelyn or Sharp Edge on Belncathra - Come and learn how to tackle them with confidence!
We will look at: Movement on steep ground, finding the scramble, moving on rock and ridges, good scrambling technique, emergency procedures, route selection, guide books and more!
The exact location of the course will be decided nearer the time, but will be within half an hours drive of Capel Curig, Snwodonia, which will help you to find accomodation! You will need to bring suitable clothing, shoes and food for a whole day on the hill.
