PRIVATE COURSES AND TUITION
Introduction to rock climbing
Introduction to rock climbing is the perfect course for anyone who is looking to get started climbing outside. Whether you've never put on a harness before or you're an experienced indoor climber, this course will give you the skills necessary to start your climbing career out on the rocks!
Skills covered:
- Where can we climb?
- Basic ropework
- Traditional and sport climbing gear - what is it and how do we use it?
- The kit that we need
- Movement on rock
- Descent from the crag top
- How to second lead climbers
Covering any topics of your choice, this course can be tailored around your needs and requirements.
Book on your own, or come as a group (up to 6 people). Kit can be provided on request.

Learn to Lead Rock Climbing
If you are looking to begin leading traditional or sport rock climbing outdoors, then this course is perfect for you!
Covering all the skills necessary to help you develop into a safe and efficient lead rock climber, as well as tips and techniques to get your head game and movement improving, this course will cater for many skills levels. Whether you're an experienced sport climber looking to begin leading traditional routes, or a total newbie to the world of leading, this course can be made to fit your needs.
Skills covered can include:
- Gear placement
- Anchor building
- Technical ropework (single or double ropes)
- Abseiling (set up and completion)
- Lead Climbing

Confidence builder
Confidence Builder is a totally bespoke course designed around you. Whether you are looking to develop your confidence in leading, seconding, movement on the rock, technical skills or your climbing head game, we can work together to build your confidence.
I'm no stranger to drops in confidence and have plenty of tips and tricks to share about logging your positive experiences and developing your self confidence in climbing!

Multi pitch Climbing
Do you fancy the adventure and challenge of multi-pitch climbing? Book onto a Multi Pitch Climbing course and you can learn all the skills necessary to get yourself onto the big crags.
Covering the technical skills required to make this move safely, this course covers subjects such as:
- Getting to the crag
- Multi pitch rope work
- Knots, knots and more knots!
- Belay stances
- Keeping others safe
- Crag evacuation
- Basic rescue methods + much more!
Covering any topics of your choice, this course can be tailored around your needs and requirements.
