Lead Climbing Improver

On this 2 day course, we will look at the following:

- Skills check on your current trad climbing

- Confidence in gear whilst leading, especially when you're looking to push your grade

- Check your anchor building and belaying!

- Head game when leading

- Key tips on building and dismantling anchors (and not leaving anything behind)

- Rope techniques and belay stance management (To reduce those rope tangles!)

- Some simple self rescue techniques

- Any topic of your choice (let me know prior to the course if you have specific things you would like to learn or work on)

The course is based in Snowdonia, North Wales.  On Day 1 of the course, we will meet at 9am Caffi Caban in Brynrefail, where we will grab a drink and have a chat about the course before heading out to a crag for the day. On Day 2, we will meet at a desingated car park at 9am to head straight to the crag for the day. 

The crag that we go to will depend on the weather and what skills we are covering on the course.
