About the Event
A 1 day Navigation Course based in the Lake District .
9am - 5pm

On this course we will cover map reading and navigation skills, as well as the more detailed and intricate ways of navigating.
This is designed to be reminder for those who have already done some Navigaition.
A perfect warm up for the Advanced Navigation course on the 23rd and 24th of October!!
We will look at: Route planning, route finding, paths, contour features, compass bearings, different navigation techniques and strategies, different maps, Gps, timing, pacing and more!
The exact location of the course will be decided nearer the time, but will be within an hour of Kendal. You will need to bring suitable clothing, shoes and food for a whole day on the hill.
Coronavirus protocols and precautions will be taken and followed.
Accomodation is not included.
