About the Event
Women's Climbing Weekends have a wonderfully simple aim : to get more women out rock climbing! They are social and inclusive weekends for anyone who identifies as a women to come along and climb, chat, eat, camp and learn.
This weekends and course is for anyone who would like to try rock climbing outside! You are welcome to come if you have never been climbing; any experience level is welcomed. We will spend 3 days at different rock climbing venues; climbing, chatting, getting some movement coaching, learning a bit about how to be independent climbing, eating and socialising. The course is open for just 14 women, so it is a small and inclusive course.
Accommodation at the wonderful CRASHPAD LODGE is included for Friday (4pm onwards), Saturday and Sunday night in the cost of the course. An Off-Grid, Eco Lodge, this is an amazing spot, tucked in at the bottom of Snowdon. The whole course will be run from here and the evenings will give plenty of time for socialising, eating, and relaxing in between days of climbing. Access to the Lodge is by car until ~1km from the Lodge, after which you park and the rest of the way is on foot or in a sturdy 4 x 4 vehicle. Click on the Lodge name above to see full details about the accommodation. More information about the logistics will be sent out closer to the date of the course.
