Women's Climbing Weekend - Saturday 18th September

Run by Alice Kerr Mountaineering, these weekends have been funded by the Charitable Work Funding of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors, funded itself by the Alpkit Foundation.

The Climbing Weekends cost between £20 and £80 per day to attend and present a wonderful opportunity for people to get out on the rock.

My aim is to get more women out rock climbing in North Wales!

Broken into 2 halves, each weekend will be based in Snowdonia, working in small groups and have opportunities for both beginners and experienced climbers. There is a particular drive to get new mothers out climbing, whether it is a re-introduction after a break, or a new sport for you.

You can come to either day, or both! Be sure to read the information below before booking as one day may suit your experience better.

Saturday 

Relaxed, beginner friendly rock climbing. Come along and have a go at climbing outside! We will go to a venue with something for all abilities, so don’t worry if you’ve never been before. 

On this day, you will learn more about movement on rock, as well as some rope skills. Although they won’t be able to climb, you are very welcome to bring children along, there will be plenty of people to watch them whilst you climb! 

Limited to 8 people. 

No prior experience needed (you do not need to have climbed indoors or outdoors). Climbing kit can be supplied.
